I admit that I'm scared for the future when it comes to this sort of thing. A lot of today's youth are reading drivel like this thinking it's good literature or that this is what all vampires are like. When my sister was in tenth grade the school was doing Dracula for the annual play. One of the girls trying out for a part honestly thought Dracula sparkled.
